Terms of Service

Last Updated June 23, 2026

Welcome to Kamp. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kamp website, mobile applications, and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Verification

To use Kamp and access verified campus feeds, you must be a registered student at a supported Nigerian university. Verification requires a valid university email address (.edu.ng) or official student ID documents. Verification credentials are converted immediately into a cryptographic token and are not linked or stored alongside your posts.

2. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

Anonymity provides freedom of speech, but it is not a shield for harmful behavior. You agree not to use Kamp to:

  • Promote campus cultism, violence, illegal societies, or gang recruitment.
  • Harass, bully, abuse, threaten, or doxx any individual (including students and university lecturers).
  • Engage in scams, financial fraud, impersonation, or unauthorized commercial activities.
  • Share non-consensual explicit media or content that violates intellectual property laws.

3. Live Chats & Expiry (Kampfires)

Kampfires are temporary anonymous group chats triggered by hot campus topics. These rooms expire automatically after 24 hours. Once expired, all message histories are permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.

4. Community-Driven Moderation

Kamp utilizes community flags to keep the space safe. If a post is flagged by enough unique users:

  • 3 Flags: The post is temporarily hidden, and the poster receives a warning token.
  • 5 Flags: The post is permanently deleted, and the author's verification token is permanently banned.

5. Disclaimers & Liability

Kamp is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not curate, edit, or endorse user-generated content. We are not liable for any real-world disputes, damages, or issues arising from activities on the platform.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Kamp are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
